Printed on 7 Different French Paper Stocks
Adhesive Conversion: LV Adhesive - Carlstadt, NJ
Printing: Mama’s Sauce - Orlando, FL
Our 145 year history proves that the French family knows how to stick around. Much like the Frenchs, these labels have the sticktoitiveness to hang on wherever you place them.
We started by shipping 7 different paper colors to our friends at LV Adhesive who converted them to adhesive label stock opening up endless possibilities for these unique papers. Beer (home brew), liquor and other packaging, company handouts, even band stickers are perfect uses for adhesive backed French Paper.
FRENCH PAPER’S CUSTOM TOOLBOX
Printed at Franklin Press on Kraft-Tone, Standard White Kraft 100#C
However you like to make your mark, French Paper is the perfect place to make it. French manufactures a toolbox of colors and textures for designers to use. The paper surfaces are engineered for offset, letterpress, and silkscreen printing, foil stamping, die cutting, laser cutting, packaging conversion, or anything else you can think of. Like most papers, you can cut, staple, fold, crimp, paint, saddle stitch, sketch, ink, erase, bend, glue, measure, color, or bind French sheets. You’ll find a difference, however, in French’s rich tones and distinctive finishes.
And remember, French Paper Company is the small, family-owned paper mill with an enormous ability to produce paper with unusual additives, rich colors, nuanced textures, and in many weights and sizes. Use the French mill as your own custom “toolbox.” Build a paper around your project, not the other way around (see frenchpaper.com/custom-manufacturing for details). All French papers are made with 100% hydroelectricity.
FRENCH PAPER FROM A-Z
Printed at Franklin Press on Kraft-Tone, Standard White Kraft 70#T
This brochure shows you the ABCs of FPC
With over 145 years in business, French has produced Capital P papers in almost every hue, value, and texture imaginable. But as a midwestern family-owned business, we’re also known for minding those P’s and Q’s and giving cutomers products they can rely on in almost every situation (we could fill up a dictionary full of uses, and then make the paper to print it on). From accordion folds to z-fold brochures, belly bands to web offset, the applications for French papers are as varied as our colors, so we’ve abbreviated them into this handy, easy-to-remember, A-Z booklet.
Join CreativeLive, the masters of creative classes, as they go behind the scenes of screen printing. You’ll hear from both sides - Designer (Clark Orr) and Printer (Hogan Birney of Mama’s Sauce) - as they work together to create and screen print a poster.
In this class, you’ll learn: -What screen printing is and how to design for it. -Choosing the best paper and ink for the job (Here at French Paper we think this is pretty obvious) -Best practices for preparing and delivering files to the printer
